The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an insightful online webinar on the topic
"Applications of Robotics in Mechanical Engineering" on 22 nd March 2025 (Saturday) at 7:30 p.m. via Google Meet. The session was led by Mr. Thoufeek N A, an esteemed alumnus of
the 2017-2021 batch (Mechanical Engineering). Mr.Thoufeek currently serves as a Mechanical
Design Engineer at Vashishtha Research Centre – Robotics and Composite Manufacturing
Technology.
The webinar aimed to expose students to real-world applications and innovations in the field of
robotics, specifically focusing on its integration within mechanical engineering practices.
Mr.Thoufeek shared his industry experiences, shedding light on cutting-edge developments and
how robotics is transforming manufacturing and design processes. The event saw active
participation from students and faculty members, further bridging the gap between academic
learning and industrial advancements.
