The Annual meet of association of department of Mechanical Engineering was conducted by the Mechanical Engineering Department on Feb 24, 2020. Dr. G Madhavan Nair, former chairman of ISRO was the chief guest of the function conducted at the mechanical engineering seminar hall. The function was presided over by Principal, Dr. T MathavarajRavikumar.

The programem commenced at 1.30 pm. Department association student president Mr. Saeed (S8, ME)delivered the welcome speech. He welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries on the dais. Trustee co-ordinator Mrs. Anitha, Department HOD-in-charge Mr. Bijeesh. P, ARMS advisor Mr. Nithin Mithra, AP. ME Department decorated the dais.HODs of other departments also associated with the function. The function was coordinated by the department association advisorMr Robin David (AP, ME Department) and Mr. Nithin Mithra (AP, ME Department).

In his speech, Dr G.Madhavan Nair, stressed upon the importance of utilizing technical knowledge of the students for the benefit of the society. He also inspired the students by touching upon his valuable experiences in ISRO.After 1 one hour of interactive session, the participants threw their doubts and gratitude for the informative session led by Dr G Madhavan Nair, and gave their feedback about the programme. Department association secretary MrAbhiram R Krishnan (S6, ME) thanked all the dignitaries and participants.All the student representatives of ARMS were introduced in the function.
