Vidya Mechanical Engineers Excel in Merchant Navy

The Department of Mechanical Engineering proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of
its students who are now charting new courses in the Merchant Navy. Muhd Aslam N, Arun P,
and Gopu Sugathan, all from the 2020-2024 batch, have successfully transitioned from
classrooms and labs to the vast seas, representing the institution in one of the most dynamic and
demanding careers in the maritime industry.
The rigorous academic training combined with hands-on technical exposure has enabled these
graduates to earn a place in the prestigious Merchant Navy fleet.
