'CAD Master' Competition at VEGA 25

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, Technical Campus, successfully organized 'CAD Master', a premier computer-aided design (CAD) competition as part of the VEGA 25 technical fest. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various institutions, showcasing their design and modeling skills in a competitive environment.

The competition, held on February 20, 2025, challenged participants to demonstrate their expertise in CAD software, focusing on precision, creativity, and engineering acumen. The event not only provided a platform for students to enhance their technical skills but also rewarded their efforts with a prize pool worth ?3,000 and 10 KTU Activity Points, adding value to their academic credentials.

The event was coordinated by Assistant Professor Sajith (Staff Coordinator) and Navaneeth (Student Coordinator), who ensured the smooth execution of the competition. Participants engaged in multiple rounds of rigorous design challenges, testing their knowledge of mechanical components, assembly design, and 3D modeling techniques.
