The NSS Unit of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus (VAST TC), Unit No. 324, participated in a Blood Donation Camp held at NSS HSS Madavoor on Wednesday, 3 November 2026. The programme was organized in association with NSS HSS Madavoor to promote voluntary blood donation and strengthen awareness of its vital role in saving lives.

A total of 30 blood donors from VAST TC took part in the camp. Their participation reflected a strong sense of social responsibility and a willingness to serve the community. By donating blood, the students contributed to an important public-health initiative and helped encourage others to consider voluntary donation.

The programme was coordinated by Prof. Sajeer A, NSS Programme Officer, VAST TC; Prof. Sree Lakshmi M, Assistant NSS Programme Officer, VAST TC; and Ms. Vidya S. Nair, Administration. Their coordination supported the students’ participation and the successful conduct of the initiative.

The camp provided an opportunity for students to put the values of compassion, civic responsibility and community service into practice. The involvement of the VAST TC donors embodied the NSS motto, Not Me, But You, and highlighted how collective participation can contribute to the well-being of others.
