The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus organized ELEXA 2K26, a technical fest conducted as part of VEGA 2K26, on 3^rd February 2026. The programme brought together students, faculty members, and visitors for a day focused on technology demonstrations, student projects, and interactive learning activities.

A major attraction of the fest was BotZone, a robotic expo that featured AI-based robots, industrial robotic arms, gesture-controlled rovers, and automation models developed by students. The HiBot Welcome Robot received visitors at the venue, creating an engaging introduction to the event’s technology-focused environment.

The Idea Gallery Exhibition presented projects from students across various academic levels, demonstrating practical applications of electronics and communication engineering concepts. Special displays such as the Antique Exhibition and Evolution of Electronics provided historical perspectives on technological advancements and electronic system development.

Interactive activities including the 360° Video Shooting Booth, Laser Maze Competition, and Soccer Robo encouraged active participation and hands-on engagement. Academic and competitive events such as Quiz-O-Tronix, Innovative X Idea Competition, and the Ink and Ideas Poster Competition evaluated participants’ technical understanding, creativity, and presentation skills.

The Volt Wheels Electric Car Expo focused on sustainable transportation technologies and emerging mobility solutions, while Astro Nova introduced participants to developments in space technology and ISRO’s missions. The IEEE Techno Arena promoted awareness of professional technical communities and opportunities for student involvement.
