A commendable research achievement has been recorded by the students of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, as a group of final-year students successfully puished a research paper in the International Journal of Research and Analytical Reviews (IJRAR), on 2^nd March 2026.

The research team consisting of Shabana S Ayoob, Arya S, Mithra Magesh S, and Amrutha S (S8 ECE) published their work under the guidance of Ms. Devika K P, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE. The accomplishment highlights the students’ strong interest in research and their ability to explore interdisciplinary areas combining electronics, communication, and artificial intelligence.

The paper titled “A Comprehensive Review of Early Lung Cancer Detection Using CNN” focuses on the application of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for the early detection of lung cancer. The study discusses how deep learning techniques can support medical diagnosis and improve the accuracy of early-stage cancer detection.
