Dr. T. Mathavaraj Ravikumar received his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Noorul Islam College of Engineering, Kanyakumari District, affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli in 1999. He pursued his M.E. degree in Production Engineering at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore under Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2002 and subsequently obtained his Ph.D. degree from Anna University, Chennai in 2014.

He began his academic career in 2002 as a Lecturer at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He later served at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore until 2012, completing 14 years of dedicated service in engineering education at leading institutions in Coimbatore.

In 2016, he joined Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus, Kilimanoor as Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. With his consistent academic and leadership contributions, he was elevated to the position of Principal in 2018, where he continues to provide vision and guidance in academic administration and institutional development.

His research interests include Robotics, Materials, and Welding Technology, in which he has contributed through scholarly engagement and academic mentorship.
